Kristy Somers is a degree qualified and registered Psychotherapist/ Counsellor and Consultant based in Brisbane, Australia. Kristy holds registration with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). In 2015 Kristy transitioned from trading under her own name and founded Glo, meaning believe in Afrikaans.
Kristy became a psychotherapist/ counsellor due to her passion to help people through life’s everyday challenges. She thoroughly enjoys observing how her clients can evolve into more positive, strong, confident forces with some professional guidance, validation and support. Kristy believes through counselling, her clients will once again learn to believe in themselves.
Continued Professional Development is something Kristy strongly believes in and she regularly attends training, workshops and participates in various work that focus on developments in counselling theory and practice. In her spare time, Kristy enjoys an active and healthy lifestyle, catching up with friends and loved ones, a glass of wine and weekend naps.
